Sam Scarpulla steps out of his comfort zone and in addition to a lot of painting, he has just as often smeared and glued, stapled and tapped, sanded and scraped. Experimentation is in his blood, testing boundaries appears to be his second nature. Scarpulla follows his instinct, Scarpulla hunts, Scarpulla is an animal - always primitive, always evolving.
