Trippy Vegas

In this exhibition, Victor Verhelst presents 'Trippy Vegas', his own universe of landscape paintings of a fictional yet realistic city. It mirrors a society over-stimulated by entertainment, in which the images merge eclectically: from naive painting over Celtic ornaments to patterns from old MS DOS games. Viewers can pick their preferred storyline and get lost over and over again. ‘Trippy Vegas' at Galerie Rufus comes in the shape of a series of riso prints and a spectrum of digital works, seamlessly bridging high-end technology and printing craft.
