Eliza Pepermans (°1988, Ghent) graduated from Luca School of Arts Brussels wanting only one thing: to draw. Always alight with energy, she’s filled hundreds of sketchbooks with every shade her pencils will allow. In Pepermans’ free work, she focuses on the ephemeral: seemingly humdrum moments she adroitly catches in bright yet unconventional compositions. Rufus factor: Eliza’s aliveness drips, bursts and fizzes from every page.
