Alexander Popelier (°1986, Ghent) graduated as a graphic designer at KASK, Ghent in 2008 before falling head over heels for photography. In 2011, he and a colleague founded AVANTGAND, a photo studio where Popelier fabricates titillating imagery for clients, brands and magazines - or just for his own pleasure.
