Nel Maertens (born 1996, Zele) graduated with a Master's degree in Fashion from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp in 2019. In her multidisciplinary practice, she explores colour, material, writing and energy — from textiles and costume design to autonomous visual works. Maertens has exhibited at home and abroad. In 2021, Charlotte Crevits curated her first solo exhibition at CC Strombeek.
