Nina Vandeweghe (°1988, Ukkel) graduated after studying Painting and Illustration at KASK in Ghent. Through commissioned illustration work, she developed a bold, figurative style all her own. Since 2019, Vandeweghe has been developing her pictorial work, often taking cues from puns. Her penchant for naive shapes leads her to compositions with cameos for fictional, playful characters, adding life to every slice of her work. Rufus factor: Nina’s vocabulary is spontaneous, cartoonish and most of all wicked!
