Sam Scarpulla (°1985, Unkown) grew up among the fields of Umbria. A descendant from the artistic Scarpulla clan, he is a key figure in the Kapow collective and experiments away in drawings, printing techniques and murals. To him, painting counts as the ultimate form of freedom. Currently, paintings on canvas and paper are his preferred pastime. Rufus factor: Sam’s work is playful, big and graphic. One leitmotiv: rhyming freedom with free rein.
