Louise Daneels (°1996, Izegem) graduated as an illustrator at KASK Ghent in 2019, only to continue in Ceramics & Glass at LUCA School of Arts. Daneels plays with clay to make ‘Herinner(d)ingen’, a bit of Dutch wordplay that rhymes memories with memorabilia. Think ceramics waxing poetic in their brittle medium. Meanwhile, her drawings are translated into three dimensions, all drawn up with home-made glaze and colours born to harmonise. Rufus factor: A world of its own, made of ceramics, clay and colour, colour, colour!
