Coralie Laudelout (°1989) graduated from KASK Ghent in 2015 with a Masters in Illustration/Graphic Design and signed up for a Masters in Painting at LUCA School of Arts Ghent in 2022. Laudelout was already working as an illustrator-storyteller for Museum Dr Guislain, Culture Ghent and Vice US. The typical stories have their origins in popular culture and art history, but equally in everyday life: from a gossip at the grocer's to a cadaver on the pavement. This library of peculiar finds provides leeway for bitter-comic expressions in an original setting. In the end, Laudelout is already purging in search of herself and answers to (unanswerable) questions about fear, love and being alive.
